These jeans mark the beginning of Evisu genesis. Prior to becoming Evisu the company was simply named Evis in honour of the original Levi's hand looms on which the jeans were made. Levi's quickly caught wind of this and forced the Japanese company to change it's name and Evisu was born. Very few pairs of these jeans were ever made and even fewer have survived.
